As part of Olney Culture Lab’s partnership with the Tookany-Tacony/Frankford Watershed Partnership (TTFWP), we jointly launched a photo contest in 2019 to appeal to amateur and professional photographers alike who may or may not have visited Tacony Creek Park.

The first contest yielded some amazing images and winning shots. When we decide to reprise the contest in 2021 amid the pandemic, we thought it would be even better to expand the contest to be watershed-wide, covering the terrain in Lower Montgomery County down to the Delaware River. We received even more wonderful submissions to judge and share with the world!

Ultimately, this contest has proven to be the most democratic way to engage and attract present and future advocates for the park and TTFWP’s work.
