revival walks 2021 - environmental engagement through reciprocity
In 2021, Movement Artist and Social Activist Lela Aisha Jones culminated her time spent in Tacony Creek Park under The Olney Embrace Project with a series of engagements dubbed Revival Walks. These events were facilitated by her and a team of like-minded collaborators, and they led various groups of participants through a section of Tacony Creek Park, centering the experience around multi-sensory, oral and movement traditions grounded in the African & African-American diaspora. Walks were held on June 5, August 5 and 7, 2021.
