Talking Cloth Quilt Project is Mama Carla Wiley’s contribution to The Olney Embrace Project, exemplifying the communal spirit and showcasing the depth of relationships in the diverse Olney business district of North 5th Street. Not only envisioned as a fabric quilt project, Mama Carla aims to share oral histories of her subject matter, highlighted by the recorded interviews below with some of the business owners and organizational leaders that reside along the corridor.
