Last winter, Olney Culture Lab was chosen as a grantees in 2020-2021 by our local Harlem Lacrosse chapters based at Finletter Elementary and Olney Elementary Schools. This national athletics/academic mentorship program emboldened their youth members to become leaders in fighting racial inequity by researching their own communities and investing in organizations that they felt made in impact in their neighborhood. We are so honored that they found and chose us! OCL received a $3,000 general operation grant and a chance to collaborate with our new friends at Harlem Lacrosse.

Harlem Lacrosse at Finletter Elementary School hosted our 3-day workshop with Mama Carla Wiley this past August 2021. We love the t-shirts that the students made with us and hope that the messages of positivity inspire others to live out their best selves.
